Who knows?
Ruger has been listening to shooter's wants and needs.

It could be a very sleek scaled-down version of the Number 1, chambered for rimfire cartridges, and small centerfires like the .22 Hornet.

I might be a stretched Super Redhawk, bringing back the .357 Maximum, using a ceramic insert in the top strap to eliminate flame cutting.

It would also really set the woods afire to reintroduce the XGI, but with a new way to mount the barrel that produces amazing accuracy.

Look at either Ruger.com or Gunblast.com (or both) at 1:00 PM EDT on Friday the 15th.

Other than a 10-22 I own, NO I'd not buy another Ruger.
Just have never met a Ruger I like - Don't care about there LCP and the LCR - I have a 642 and a Kahr..... Ruger appears to be a ME TOO company -- After other companies bring out new product years later Ruger goes "Oh hey - maybe we should start making polymer pistols too......"

No for mew there are plenty of other companies out there and Ruger is just not in my favorites column
What about the Ruger rimfire autopistols? They're like the 10-22s of handguns. Also, my Single Six may be my favorite plinking gun ever.

PhilW that's what you get for living on the front side of the world.  We on the back side of the world don't have to wait so long. ???
The reveal is suppose to be at 1:00 p.m., but I don't know what time zone that is.  If it is local Phoenix time then I think it would be Mountain Standard Time. (MST)  Right now it's about 5:00 pm in Phoenix 5-14-09.

Well, This will be the extent of my fun. Another gun purchase for me will be a good long ways off -- no matter what it is they come out with. Its just really fun to see all this excitement surrounding the industry in general. We have not really had much new to talk about since SHOT, and this has been a great injection of excitement and anticipation.

*I am officially casting my vote that it will be an AR -- and when it is, I WILL say "I told ya so".

I don't believe that............    ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D

"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison
