So you can throw it on when someone breaks into your house.  I've worn kevlar on a few occasions, most notable was when I was six, dad and the uncle were going to go shooting at a ranch or old quarry the only way the mom would let me go was if wore that vest.  So went out there with a vest on that went below my knees.  And a police issue vest doesn't fit a six year old without duct tape.

They should decriminalize shooting politicians, it would be an incentive for them to keep their dumb ideas to themselves.
