As I said, I support the NRA. I am not suggesting there is a better gun owner's organization in the country. I am, however, suggesting that some of what the NRA does is misguided. NICS itself is a clear violation of the Second Amendment. Improving the NICS process is good in the short-term, however it sets a bad precedent. The goal should be the elimination of NICS, not expansion of an unconstitutional program.

I take no position on the quality of GOA's t-shirts.  ;D

Wasn't meaning to jump down your throat.  I just get tired of the GOA running around like chicken little.

I agree that in a perfect world the 2A would be recognized and that would be that but we don't live in a perfect world.

We need to think like the 'grabbers' and take it one step at a time.

I wholeheartedly agree. Let's just make sure the steps we take lead us in the right direction.
