Not me............everyone who knows me  knows or even thinks that they know me better know I'm armed to the teeth..
If they want to take a chance??..??..??..??..
Well bring 'er on................... ;)
They might win... but they'll damned sure have to earn it..  ;D

I dont advertise. Only a few family members/close personal friends know I own guns..... even fewer know I carry.

I suppose when I am in the city.. I could say I am 'incognito".. no one knows and I don't let on....

Around here.....I don't "advertise"... but then again.. anyone who knows me ( and in a town of 800 people and a 5 county population of 3,000..my family selling guns.. my husband and I running and operating gun sites..and being 6th generation family  living here all my life.. and having all 6 generations gun owners...
Wellll~~~~ :-\ I guess they probably know I have guns and carry.  ;D

What is the funniest though is when someone finds out that I carry, and also that oh by the way... I am carrying right now. It always leaves them dumbfounded ;)

I use to love this stuff, but I definitely don't advertise anymore, no stickers on my vehicle or front door, just not worth the potential risk, M'lette, I'm so glad you live in an environment, it is still viable. Of course I would pick door #1 as my target to steal from, and watch door #2, carefully, and make sure the owners were not home. The 12 gauge  holes do make a statement

Of course if you were a sneaky bastard.....you'd put up the no guns allowed sign and then just shoot them in the face with your Glock. But that would be very, very wrong....wouldn't it? ;D

I guess I don't understand this thinking of hiding. What happened to being actively pro-gun and spreading the word? Everyone seems so worried about being robbed if they display their view point. Well don't put a sign up that says, "I have X amount of guns worth X amount of money in my home or vehicle." But be proud of exercising your Second Amendment rights.

I was under the impression that this is what this entire forum is about. Spreading the word about how great guns are and the amount of fun you can have with them, along with the safety you can enjoy as well.

During my daily work, I have to make small talk with numerous people throughout the day. I never hesitate to steer the conversation towards guns. Most of the time, I find people who are of the same mindset and friendships are made, but there are people who don't know or don't understand the gun culture. This leads into a discussion, in which many times, I leave them being informed and often having a changed opinion on the matter. Often it leaves me rather late to the next scheduled job, but it is worth it.

So this junk about not telling people you have guns is why mainstream media has the ability to corrupt those who may be on the fence or those who are uninformed. Hell, you don't even have to tell people you HAVE guns. It can be a simple comment as to how much you enjoy shooting, whether for hunting, sport or just entertainment.

Gun ownership should be displayed as proudly as the American flag. How many of you on here would hide that?

That's just my 15 cents worth but after BHO tax it's equal to -$0.02

I have an incredibly dumb question:  IF you live in an area that it would be more conspicous not to have an NRA sticker in the window of your outfit is it a bad idea not to have it on the window?
