DPMS makes a great rifle.  I've only run a couple hundred rounds through it, but no FTF or FTE.  Smoothest firing semi-auto (pistols and shotguns included) I've ever fired.

Looking good Dakota.  I need to do some work on mine.  I also need to figure out how to work a digital camera and post pics so I don't get zinged by everyone for not posting porn.

Awesome setup Dakotaranger. I agree with you on DPMS. Absolutely love mine. I parted ways with a Bushmaster but I will never part ways with my DPMS.

It works, but if you guys have a better suggestion I'll listen.

Go to wally world or the dollar store and get a small sized elastic hair band.

I'd use a plastic wire tie. (Honest)  I think it would give a better. sturdier mount.

Go to wally world or the dollar store and get a small sized elastic hair band.

You could also try Velcro straps. They are generally meant for wire management. You get the ability to tighten it as much as you want but still be able to remove it and reuse it. They can be found at pretty much any store that has to do with computers or office supplies. (Office Depot, Staples, Office Max, etc.) Plus they come in all kinds of colors if that is the sorta thing you're in to. ;)

I don't know Peg, he's obviously dealing with some badass coyotes with that rig. They might even be "tactical coyotes". Wouldn't do to be looking girlie. ;D

I started a couple comments like that last night.  However, with my current state of follicle insufficiencies I don't make fun of anyone with hair ... past, present or future  ;)
