Maggie's Birthday Present

Yaay!
It took two and a half hours of driving each way, sitting around waiting, and getting home after midnight, but last night I was able to arrange for Maggie to get her birthday present.
We met with an older fellow and purchased his LEO brother's  S&W nickel plated model 19-4. It's going to require some cleaning up but it is a little-used police gun with a very light single action trigger. It's gonna be sweet and she's really excited. (Like I'm not...I'll be shootin' that thing too).

She is dead set against dirty porn so I have to wait until she is happy with how it looks and how it cycles before posting pix.
Oh....we also got a sweet price on it...the rest of the family just "wanted it out of the house".

So I take it all porn will be in sort of soft focus and the stars will at least pretend to be in love with each other? Or maybe shot in black and white for the "artistic" effect? ;D

Range Report! We took the new (old geezer) revolver out and ran some .38 hardball through it. It was "pistol night" when our club opens to the public for pistol shooting. The regulars LOVED this gun.
We fired about 100 rounds through it with no hitches...it needed sighting because the rent-a-cop that owned it never sighted it I guess. Once that was done it was as accurate as any other pistol we have.
But the trigger....
The single action pull HAS to be less than 4 lb- didn't test but 3-3 -1/2 lb I"d guess, and really smooth even though she hasn't gotten the guts as clean and slick as she'd like them. Later I shot a load of 357 through it. It's a little bit of a banger with 357- you get your money's worth at that caliber, but it's still nice to shoot.
The photos do not do this thing justice. It's not 100% but it's good looking and solid, and a PLEASURE to shoot.

And now...some nice, clean porn.





And the best part is, once again my wife thinks I"m the greatest for hookin' this up.
