You better bring lots of ammo and a slingshot because you and TAB won't be finding any more when you run out. The 16 gauge and the 10mm are great guns to shoot, less great when you're looking to find ammo though.

We do that after just about every practice session, exept nobody's using 10mm. Mostly .45 & 9's.

Yeah, 10mm is an effective caliber.

Personally I dont think it's different enough from others to justify its existance, but anytime theres a new caliber introduced, guns sell!  And thus there will always be new calibers poping up every year, and a lot of people bit on 10mm...  Worth adding!

Everyone remember (M25, Geesh!  I'm impressed if you can effectivly use all those at the same time!), its a ONE GUN pole.  Doesnt matter if you own it or not.  Doesnt matter if you own any guns at all.  Just a question of "From your knowledge and experience, what would your personal choice be?"

I choose the 12 gauge because I can take anything from birds and bunnies to black bears with it. With the right ammo it works for almost anything you could want to shoot.

I chose .357 magnum. I have three of them and lots of ammo. Plus I can shoot .38 as well so it gives some versatility in finding dropped ammo. I can also use it to get an upgrade...My 6 1/2" Blackhawk is good out to 100 yards in my hands in minute of bad guy. I'm also thinking of a Marlin lever gun in that caliber.

2nd choice would be the 12 ga. I have lots of shells and that would be a good gun in close quarters. Hard to hide though.

The 12 gauge would be the best for the "I Can Only Have One" catagory. But for me it would be a hard choice between 12 gauge and 30-30.

It's only put more meat on the table, than any other caliber in history. Makes a good man stopper too, if it comes to it.

As far as I know it is also the caliber that best weathered the conversion from black powder to smokeless.
