As I listened to it again I want to comment on another item:

He talks of only wanting to ban guns that were designed for military purpose.  Tom did a good job of touching on this with his powerful, semi-automatic and large magazine capacity comments, but I'd like to add that many of the guns and accessories used in military weaponry come out of the sporting field.  Competative and recriational firearm use is the biggest and best R&D there is is for military ... or so many arms manufacturers state as they support sport shooting.

 That guy was full of crap all the way through. Starting with when he said he was glad to be on the show.
Tom did a pretty good job of calling BS on the highest points, but as he said to a later caller, there was so much that he couldn't call him on all, or even most of it.
I wonder if that guy even gave his real name.
