Thanks everyone.
This is one of those things that allows us to reflect on the past, present, and future and see what we have to be thankful for. My family has been blessed many times, and hopefully it is God's will that we will continue to be blessed.
I know the next few months are not going to be smooth sailing, but in the grand scheme of things (or the big picture, if you will) I also know that there are many other people in the world worse off at this same time than we are.
This is just one of those speed bumps in life that takes a little more work to get over than normal. But once you get over it, you're a much stronger person than before. Like Amy always says, when you think you have it bad, just look around and you can always be humbled by someone that needs even more prayer and support.
We are both so grateful to have the emotional support of so many friends and family right now.
Amy knew that I was a member of this forum and had looked around on here a few times and knew I had a good many friends on here that I am fond of.
She was moved deeply when I told her how many of you all had expressed words of encouragement, prayers, and well-wishes for her (and the family). She was moved even more as she read this thread.
Again, thank you all for the prayers and emotional support.
