Don't fret Alf....I may be shooting my rifle groups with my 106 year old Savage Model 1903!  At fifty yards, I'll be lucky to hit the paper myself.  We'll see how the old squirrel gun holds up since I have not shot it in 26 years, at least!

So, just to encourage everyone, here's a classic example of me shooting a rifle standing.   Pistol......I'm okay with.....rifle....not so much.

Let me trot out the excuses......no sling, windy day, hecklers in the peanut gallery, guy shooting 7mm Mag right next to me....uh.....I'm sure there are others.

So get your entries in.   Even just one hole on paper would beat my score.
(FYI:  Savage 25, in .223, 100yds)

Any optics on that rifle, Alf?
All tipoes and misspelings are copi-righted.  Pleeze do not reuse without ritten persimmons  :D

Like the Sundance Kid, "I'm better when I move!".... ;D

Rested Ruger SP-101 - 2-1/8" barrel, .38 Spcl 130 gr

Off Hand Ruger SP-101 = 2-1/8" barrerl, .38 Spcl 130 gr

Rested Para 1911, 4-1/4" barrel, .45 ACP 230 gr

Off Hand Para 1911, 4-1/4" barrel, .45 ACP 230 gr

NO ENTRY Savage 1903 24" barrel, .22 LR just for fun.  This old gun shoots pretty straight but needs some TLC....found an online site for replacement parts.  The magazine goes for 42 bucks....5 times what the gun was worth in 1903!

I need an "issue" resolved by the judges.... Can I get a mulligan for a"flyer" ???

I'm blaming the ammo, yeah I know but, I was rockin' with my .40 EAA Witness when the fourth round went to Arkansas??!?!?!?

Just standard Magtech 180gr FMJ. But damn,,,,, :-\

Here's the Uberti .45LC with Georgia Arms 200gr. LRP.

There are only 4 holes because the 9:00 was a "twofer" ;D

Will get to the outdoor range soon for rifle 1A and 2A, maybe 2B as well,

And my Walther PPK/S back from the mothership, will give it a go for 3A....

P.S. I fired Bob.... ::)

Nice shooting Timothy and TW.     I'll give you a Mulligen.   I sure could use them at times.

The rifle shooting is going to be interesting for me.

That old gun won't cut the mustard.  I'll be using the SIL's Rem 700 in .243 or his Bushy XM-15 in .223 for the longer range.  Fifty yards, probably his GSR-5 plinker or whatever I buy in the next month.  It will be either a lever gun in .357 or the Savage rimfire rifle.

For open sight rifle, my good ol' 30-30 Winchester. And the Mauser although it's cheating for an open sight... ::)

Looking forward to the rifle side of the tournament..
