And then there’s this guy.
William Taylor spent his Wednesday morning standing on a busy street corner during rush hour in Tysons Corner, Va., wearing a sheepish, remorseful look on his face and an enormous sign that read, “I CHEATED. THIS IS MY PUNISHMENT.”
According to media reports, the punishment was dreamed up by Taylor’s wife, who busted him cheating when she found evidence of his indiscretions on his cell phone.
A local FOX affiliate reported that Taylor spoke with FOX 5 photojournalist Mike Horan about his wife’s payback plan.
"I thought she was kidding, but she was serious,” said Taylor of Centreville, Va. “I figured I got to do what I got to do to makes things right. So here I am."
Taylor told Horan and other passersby that he planned to stand on the corner wearing the giant confessional sign for the rest of the week.
“We haven't quite decided if this is a publicity stunt for some wacky YouTube channel or a ratings-driver for a morning radio station,” Carissa DiMargo of WRC wrote on NBCWashington.com. “But if it's true, we like it. We. Are. Amused.”
Hey, at least he still has all his factory equipment.
What the story didn't tell you was the REAL reason he was out there. It seems his wife was standing there, just off-camera, to make sure he did as he was told.
