I was asleep in bed with the flu. My phone kept ringing and woke me up. It was my cousin asking if I could believe what was going on? I turned on the tv and couldn't believe what I was seeing. A jetliner had crashed into one of the towers. The second happened while we were on the phone. I was in the twilight zone.............

May God bless those who fell that day and thier familys. May God bless our military and those who are trying to make sure it never happens again and those of us who support them.

We shall always remember.

I was to be there that day, 67th floor, tower 2.  At the last minute the day before I corrected the issue and was told I did not have to be there on Tuesday.  There were 2 people on the planes that I had worked with.  I was unaware at home in CT in the basement doing some work.  My wife had just headed to town with our 1 month old son to get some things.  She called and told me since she had turned on the radio.  That day was the day we made the decision to leave New England and return home to Montana, doing whatever needed to get done to get out.

P.S.  My family also remembers December 7th.  Both of my Uncles were transferred off of the Arizona days before Pearl Harbor.  I am starting to see a family theme here. :)

Looks more like a family blessing!

It was pretty surreal to watch on TV.  I'm pretty sure our Leaders knew of this coming.  Our aggressive arrogance, VS with their hate for us. Matter of when. This has been simmering for decades. Still, neither the Repos or the Demos has found the bad guys. Why haven't they secured our borders, and they just keep inventing mechanisms to restrict citizens freedoms, not get B/L. If all this scanning and screening is safety and security, I'll take danger any day .
With all those Predators  flying around, they haven't a clue where B/L is? The blimps, cameras, their intelligence, soothsayers and journalists can't find The New Madhi? Islam's mighty warrior? Nice puzzle, should take decades.
Is Bin Laden a CIA asset, that sold his own people out? The USA  issued citizenship and flight training for his followers. Flew his Brother out, only flight out that day. Our nations security failed, because they were told to stand down due to a drill? To many questions linger, now the firefighters are coming out, the ones still alive. Questions.
America needs closure, we need to find out whether foreign and or domestic enemies had anything to do this mass murder, we must know what really happened. It has affected our Constitution and Bill of Rights, ruined us financially, and forced our children into perpetual, un-payable debt. Have they kept us safe from our attackers? Who are our attackers? The only ones that have profited from this is the Govt, Banks, military contractors, biotech and security firms.
The American citizen has lost. Our people were murdered that day and everyday takes a soldier. We must know exactly what happened that day or we will not be able to climb out of our state of limbo, and focus on healing.

I still cry over this day, and those who died and those who risked their lives. Im not ashamed to say that. GOD BLESS them and theirs.

I use to stay at the Vista hotel at the WTC when I did threat assements. We did a bunch of training for FDNY HAZMAT and NYPD EMS. My boss brother was hurt clearing rubble at the World Trade center as part of his job as a fire fighter.

I made a trip to Fresh Kills teach police detectives about PPE as they sifted for body parts.

So Woody put a sock for today.
