One thing good to be said about BO, politics aside, is that the man is all about bootstraps. Him and Michelle both. Kayne (or however you spell it), I couldn't possibly care less, is an arrogant SOB who thought it was ok to ruin some 19 years olds' big moment, just becuse he could. BO gets that because you know that as the multi-racial, food stamp recipient son  of an unwed mother, he probably got more than his fair share of crap from bullies at a rich kid's school in Hawaii. I'm not defending the man, just pointing out that for Mr. West, when you are a black guy geting publically dissed by the first African American President for being a bully, you're street cred just dropped to zero.

The one thing I give W, and Obama credit for is this. Affirmative action (in BO's case) or Legacy status (affirmative action for rich white people) in W.s case, may get you in the door, but they won't get you a degree. They both did it on their own once they got in the door. You can hate on BO, the left can hate on W, but they both took advantage of the opportunities given them and I doubt either would appreciate someone stealing someone else's well earned  15 minutes.

Do you know what they call a fellow who graduates 499 out of 500 from med school?  They call him Doctor.  Odamna may have graduated, but how well did he do?  No one knows.  I know lots of folks with verious degrees and not all of them are particularly smart.  Some just managed to hang around long enough.

You know its weird. I actually, was fairly enthused about BO a year ago, now, I'm hardly his number one fan and wish that either the Libertarians or the GOp had given me someone I could vote for without vomiting. Yet, here I am, defending BO who I like less and less by the day. Why? Geek solidarity I guess, but the man was editor of the Harvard Law Revue and that doesn't happen by accident and all the affirmative action in world won't get you that job. Just like being POTUS, you get it, for good or ill, on your merits.
