Its good to be me and TW, 8) plus the blond gun geek who is very, very hot, and was on The West Wing as well. I vote it a good show behind NCIS and my late lamented The Shield.

They do. When I went for jury duty, the defendant's attorney made a big deal out of CSI and how part of the case was going to be deriving evidentiary truth vs. TV.

saying that i am a little deaf in my right ear.

WHAT? ? ? ?

OK, someone had to say it!  ;D

West Wing was and is a fantasy show, along with Stargate, Firefly and anything on the really stupidly renamed SyFy network (mosquitoes the size of Volkswagens, anyone?). The show was invented by Hollyweird to remind everyone that the Dems had really won the 2000 election and the Bush had stolen the election through his brother. This way they could play-act the fact that they really were in the White House, and pay no attention to that shrub that was actually there.

It was hyped by compatriot Hollweird mopes who hated the very name Bush, and is still, to this day, getting huge airplay - far beyond its creativity (what there is of it) due to Viacom - another uber-liberal company who supported BJ klintoon and his ilk.

Stop thinking with your zipper - a trend in your posts these days - and open your eyes.

A co-worker son has been issued a surpressed SAW in Iraq. We figure its for room clearing. He wears a Ranger comm set, (muffs and radio mike in one) but that still would be brutal.

Path
Three things.
1)  Firefly is a straightup western. Yes it has space ships but it might as well have the OK Coral and covered Wagons.
2) The West Wing, while a liberals fantasy world was one of the best written TV shows ever. It reminds you of the dialogue between Hepburn and Stuart in The Philladelphia Story. Smart writing is smart writing and politics be damned.
3) As far as your concern about my zipper, which is a bit odd, I keep it PG 13, much like Firefly, a great freaking show, I stand four square with Haz here.

I have it on very good authority that a friend can fire a Ruger Blackhawk .357 Magnum into their living-room ceiling and it is quite loud.

And as posted in another thread about .44's, I also have it on good authority that firing a .44 Magnum with Cor-Bon hunting ammo inside a 4x4 deer blind can be quite spine-tingling.....and loud.

I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

One time I was standing in a doorway, right next to the door and fired my .357. ONCE!!! I think I had an ear infection already but when the sound bounced off of the door a foot away it really hurt.
