Exit Question: Is anyone else surprised by how quickly this has become a very lengthy thread?

10 pages in 3 days ::)

So, men like machine's!  ;D

Looks like they got going to fast and ran into something.  One of their sub.'s?

I dont think the Russian's lack of "caring about their work" will change when (If I'm right on this).  They're assigned jobs, that they work at their whole lives without chance of promotion or a raise. (I think MY last boss may have been Russian!)

Can you imagine working on the flight deck of that thing? I'd rather take a job in a fireworks factory staffed by two pack a day smokers.

SCOUT!  I believe that is the name, Ford Scout.

The Scout was made by International Harvester.  Ford made the Bronco.
I love waking up every morning knowing that Donald Trump is President!!

Is that thing still afloat? I heard it had been mothballed.

Yes, they sailed it into the Med last summer doing a little dodge and duck with our boys and girls.  A friend of mine, who's wife is now a Captain (Colonel to you ground pounders), managed to send back several dozen pics of her while she was part of the Trumans strike group staff...

The Russians have been trying to peddle it off to the highest bidder....it's a joke...

Quite a rusted pile of junk....I can't find the pics though, I'll look again tonight...

Multi-fuel engine that'll run on dog turds if you can push them into the cylinders quick enough!

I believe multi-fuel refers to diesel, kerosene, turbine fuel, gasoline, bio fuel, or any comination of these fuels and not dog turds unless you can turn them into a combustible liquid state.

 Methane ?   ;D
In Motor T school they told us the multi fuel engines would run on any thing from Jet fuel to vodka and perfume.
