*God is pro gun (or sword given the time period)

*God does not believe in Global Warming (The earth will be here for thousands of years even after God has returned)

*God is anti big government, but expects you to pay your taxes --- even the poor

Santa Claus however is a Democrat. He's cute. He's nonthreatening. He's always cheerful. And he loves animals. He may know who's been naughty and who's been nice, but he never does anything about it. He gives everyone everything they want without the thought of quid pro quo. He works hard for charities, and he's famously generous to the poor...... And he would much rather we take the Christ out of Christmas.

Second is that I am to lazy to write, and everyone has better things to do, than read a twenty page rebuttal about Biblical hermenutics. I will say two things. The first is that pride is the original sin for a reason. The second is that if you think your politics reflect God's will and you are right and others wrong because of that, a great big honking red DANGER sign should start flashing.
