Simply Rugged makes a belt pouch for speed strips. Called the "most versatile ammo pouch" for $20.

Well I've been carrying them in my back pocket behind my bandana and I think it's gonna work fairly well.

To place a speed strip in my watch pocket of my jeans, I cut it down one round.  Only have a five shooter anyway.  Concur on the brittleness.   My last one give up the ghost last summer before I left.  Guess I had that one for about twelve years and it was used when I got it.

Belt mounted cell phone holder.  The other pocket.  An empty Leatherman/knife type belt pouch.  Shirt pocket.  It will just depend where you carry the gun and how you reload.  It helped me to think where my gun is and how I would have to reload it.  I carry two in my left front pocket opposite of the LCR.  When I eject the spent shells the gun is in my right hand leaving my left open to grab one of the two in the aforementioned left pocket.  As always, practice to see how it fits.
