That's the beauty of it, Sig.... To show that there's a need for this study, I have to show a gap or problem.

Let's face it, proving the media (or most of it) don't know which end the bullets come out of isn't too challenging a task.

I was originally going to work toward developing a primer course for journalists.... then I did some research and found an article by some Michael Bane dude talking about the program he developed with NSSF.

Man, the Shooting Gallery guy I watch every week just hosed my thesis.... or at least forced me to tweak it a skosh.

I'm meeting with my thesis chair today, but right now I am either going to revise the whole study to examine journalism students' firarm knowledge and opinions.... or see how effective the NSSF program has been.

Either way, I've been able to study boomsticks as legitimate academic research.

And brother, that ain't bad.

hello fellow downrange tv viewers and posters

located in eastern Pa and love to shoot from time to time. reactive targets and plain ol` plinkin` (hence the name) is what i do to
to relax and shake the stress from time to time.

i've been a plinker since i was 12ish (wasn't fortunate enough to have a close family member to encourage my hobby)
enjoy reactive targets and just plain ol`plinkin`, hence the screen name.

i absolutely love the video section since im not one of the lucky ones who can see shooting gallery on tv.

i'd like to thank marshal, marshal'ette and of course michael for the site.

now reset the target please  ;D

thanks BIG red penny, i have a soft spot for SIGS. problem i have around here is you cant really do much plinkin`with bullets so i spend more time with my 2 favorite airguns. (air arms TX200 MkIII and a RWS Diana P5 magnum)

but i'm on my way to stock up on some more toys soon, unfortunately i cant afford to get all at once so im about ready to draw straws.

here's the list,

a couple more 10/22's, 2 buck marks pistol and carbine, one of 3 5" 1911's, one of 2 black rifles in .223, and a 6" .357 revolver. oh and id like one of the SRT SIGS.
