I've finished Trap shooting for the Summer this year. (It's supposed to hit 119 F today). So last week I dragged out all of my components. Powder, Primers, wads, and empty hulls. I got both of my loaders all cleaned, lubricated, tuned up and adjusted. I've got about 3,500 12 gauge Trap loads loaded up. With around 700 more to go.
Then all of my 12 gauge hulls will be reloaded, and ready for next fall. I still have plenty of components left over for reloading another batch. So shotgun wise I'm good to go. I'm well loaded up on all of my centerfire rifle and pistol as well. And I've still got a ton of rimfire.
So if this shortage drags on, hopefully I won't be effected by it. I'm just glad I bought so much when I did. I don't even want to think about what I would have to pay today for all the stuff I've been accumulating over these last 25 years. I opened a sealed box containing 2, 8 pound jugs of Clay's Powder I bought from Larry's in Nampa, Idaho. The packing slip was from 1996. The total with shipping was $162.50. That's for 16 pounds of powder delivered. Now as it sits I've got about 1 and 1/3rd of it left.
