CH Precision has Federal 9mm (not that EU trash) for $0.355/rd.  Of course they sold 500,000 in 60seconds the first day, but you can get on their mailing list for notification when they're taking more orders.  I think they said they're getting something like 2.5million rounds a month.

I doubt it's trash.
They did invent the frigging 9mm after all.
That was why Devel sent a cartridge gage with every pistol.

Went into an Academy Sports in middle GA yesterday and they some ammo on the shelves, first I've seen in a while.

Plenty of .223/5.56mm, ranging from $12 and up (based on mfg/type) per 20 rd box, folks were stopping and looking and passing on by.

They had some "brown box" 9mm FMJ for $22 per 50 rd box (better than $50 per box) and some Sig hollow point SD loads for $20 per 20 rd box (about what it was pre-covid crapstorm).

Plenty of .22lr at $32 for 200 rd bulk as well as plenty of 50 rd boxes for $10 and up per box. Folks also passing on that.

There was a few other random rifle calibers but no other pistol and no shotgun ammo at all.

There was a four box limit total for handgun and rifle and a ten box limit on shotgun (moot because they were out).

I don't have a lot of SD 9mm for the wife's pistol (the only 9mm caliber gun we have) so I did grab two of the boxes of the Sig and two of the FMJ.....all for just under $90.

Prices have doubled, or more.
9mm I paid $18 for is now $32, 357 magnum, $42 a box.
Hope you stocked up before because only a crazy person or REALLY ignorant new shooter will be paying that.
There is a bit of a silver lining though.
Dems claimed guns were easier to buy than books or veggies.
Well I've sure never seen a $40 cucumber.

$5.00 a box is cheap, I saw a guy at a gun show recently that was asking $150.00 for a brick of 500 Winchester .22 ,stuff that used to go for $15.00 on sale. And there were idiots paying it.
