That makes two of us. I actually miss grading badly written papers from folks who haven't done the reading. Even Wally World isn't hiring here. Its not just about the money so much (yet, though is getting there) as just wanting a job, any job. Hell, I've been working since I was 16 and sitting on my ass is driving me nuts. I didn't apply for unemployment out of principle, but at this point anything useful is ok. problem is, I don't speak spanish and down here, too many companies won't hire Americans as they like their network of no complaint, no osha, no withholding rules, pools of illegals. I never thought that with ten ten years of teaching experience it would be so hard to get a part time gig.
