I guess that just goes to show that any company can make a lemon. I have owned many Uberti's and work in a gun shop where we sell them. Most folks seem pretty happy with them, as I have been. As they are copies of the old Colt SAA, and use flat springs, they will indeed break with use, as did the Colt. They are quite simple to replace. That is why Ruger made the Blackhawk, and later the Vaquero, with unbreakable piano wire coil springs.
