I see and have heard nothing positive about Asohka, the acting is wooden, "cardboard cutout" was the specific phrase. Kathleen Kennedy's (producer) whole "the force is feminine" thing was rampant, lots of implied lesbian stuff (women wistfully staring at each other with faint smiles), etc.
The only decent character was played by Stevenson (Titus Pullo in the Rome series for those who forget), and sadly he's passed away.
And then there are the SPACE WHALES!!!!!! What kind of idiot thought that one up? I actually know, it was the director.
Glad you enjoyed it, Alf, but it was DOA for me. Just a perversion of the Star Wars of George Lucas.
Actually, one nice point. The whole current series was about women searching for magic balls. That was funny.
