Range Rumor of New Colt Saw

 I can proudly say that the only M 60 totally out of commission when I was unit armorer was the one the ammo truck backed over (I don't need no steenkeen ground guide ) I've heard good things about the M240 but I loved the M2 since the Marine Corps for 2 reasons,
1 No one marches with a 50 cal.  
2 The only thing you could not out range was a Tank main gun or mortars.
