A word on the meetings and the speeches, some you need to sign up for, so investigate it 1st, I don't know ( and I should ) which event Sarah is speaking at, but you need to find out to get a seat, 2nd, make sure your NRA membership is in good order and get there early, it can take an hour to just get your badge to go through the doors. 3rd, arrive early ( real early ) to any public event like Uncle Ted, I did not try to go to his 1st event which was on Saturday and of course that is the most popular day of the the annual meeting, he was in a separate room on Sunday at 1pm, arrived at 12:40, the room was at over capacity and no one else was allowed in. Just food for thought, planning is everything, so look up the events and when and where they are, some of the seminars are excellent, the movie Jeff Cooper: A Man in full, was shown and I did not plan for it, saw some from outside the door. On the last day I met his daughter Lindsay, a very gracious woman, as was her mom and dad whom I had the pleasure of spending 30 minutes with at shot one year, she gave me a coupon to purchase the DVD at a discount, and advised me ( which I did ) to have a party with my shooting buddies and charge them 5 bucks a piece, instead I had them buy the beer and the food. I also purchased Shot Luck, his last book, and now wished I had bought the new premium edition of Principles of self defense, leather bound with gold guilding, built in cloth book marker, just like a bible, I asked her how much, and with sympathy in her eyes said, it is 150.00 dollars, now wish I had bought it and had her sign it.
Good luck, Hope to see your there
