I already have a FB account and was logged in.

Said it was unavailable because it was removed or due to privacy settings.

I promised pictures . . . .

The first is my Marine son having his turn at the .50

The second displays very clearly the sad and woeful syndrome called .50 caliber-itis IIRC. We really should take up a collection to see if we can't eliminate this sorry condition! And yes, that is a Tupperware Glock 10mm on his hip.

What other kind of Glock would you carry when shooting a .50 ?
They don't make them in .45 Colt  ;D   (yet  )

And people complain about the Glock not fitting their hand now, just imagine what a 45Colt Glock would look like!! But it sure would be fun.

Shooting a .50 from the "ground" is not good for shooter. :o  The concussion is also not pleasant for anyone not standing directly behind the shooter.

Recommend a stout table....

Love the big .50s been shooting them for decades, first in at Bragg in 86' (Daisy and MacMillians) then bought myself a Fresshour Tejas .50.  However most of my shooting been with M82s in the desert enviroments.

How is the M82 for accuracy in comparison to other 50BMG platforms?  You obviously have a an experience factor other's don't have with having had various weapons from an armory that brings you in contact with both a number of different models/manufacturers and also a number of different guns within a given model/manufacturer.

The variance between guns of the same model is of particular interest since buying one in the market is a bit of a turkey shoot.   Sort of like Winchester bolt actions vs. Remington bolt actions...a few years back Winchester would sell you some real stinkers.

Thanks,
Ken

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

I would say the McMillians were the most accurate.  But that was only one rifle in the late 80s.  Most of my M82A1 shooting was at relatively close targets (less then 800m) and at larger targets then when shooting the bolt guns.  Did shoot one of the M99 Barretts in Murfressburo (at Barretts) and got decent 200 yd accuracy with M33 Ball.  Most of my ammo used was usually API or Mk211 Rufoss rds.  Like all rifles pays to shoot different types and lots.  For my needs the advantages of the semi with its fast follow up shots the M82 was more then accurate enough.
