I live just outside of DC in N.VA. I was upstairs in my house and thought a big truck was in the street unloading something. No damage but some shaking for 30 secs or so. Traffic was horrible as the Govt was let out early.

THIS JUST IN: The White House has just confirmed that the earthquake occurred in a location called "Bush's Fault." We might've known!

Son called me at 2:00 today, from just North of Charlotte, NC, felt it, and said the dogs freaked out for a bit...

UPDATE: The east coast earthquake apparently was caused by an unknown fault line running under D.C. and through Virginia. It is now being called Obama's Fault, though Obama will say it's really Bush's Fault. Other theories are that it was the founding fathers rolling over in their graves or that what we all believed to be an earthquake was actually the effects of a 14.6 trillion dollar check bouncing in Washington.
