« on: August 23, 2011, 01:22:19 PM »
Just heard on the news of a 5+ magnitude earthquake in the Washington DC area.

Hope everyone is OK.

Also looks like the current hurricane could get up that way also.

Time to get the T-Shirt making gear fired up.

5+ is nothing...

Ain't that the truth, did my first 5+ in kindergarten.  Everybody here is wondering what the hell is going on. Reports of damage but no injuries or the actual extent of damage.  Felt like somebody bouncing on the floors or a helo hovering overhead briefly but lasted to long (about 5-10 seconds).  The two local bridges are reported closed but other reports show at least one open.

It wasn't near DC, actually between Richmond and Fredricksburg.

When seconds mean the difference between life and death, the police will be minutes away.

You are either SOLVING the problem, or you ARE the problem.

I won't say what I really want to say about an earthquake in DC.  Besides, all the self importants are on vacation.
You can say lots of bad things about pedophiles; but at least they drive slowly past schools.

Yeah, all the people who need to be replaced were on vacation. Missed another chance.
