Here in NC, any establishment of any kind can put up a "No Gun" sign. They also have a stipulations for no CCW allowed at funerals, parades, or any place that serves alcohol.
You can legally have a holstered firearm, on the hip, and drink a beer where permitted, according to the law, but LEO would probably get you on Drunk and Disorderly, or Public Nuisance, or Disturbing the peace. Something.
North Carolina in the "infinite wisdom" of our legislature, and letting the local Sheriff's office "modify" the laws county to county.
We have many, many, many GRAY areas. Several contradict. Ex. One county says you can have your pistol in you car in plain view in a non threatening manner; legally.
Another county says if an officer is in his squad car and your in your car, he can't see the 1911 .45 on the seat and therefore its concealed, and if you dont have a CCW permit you are breaking the law.
And the holstered in plain view also has the "brandishing to the terror of the public" ordinance. which you can legally holster BUT might also be "brandishing"
Good Luck in GA. Maybe some common sense will rub our way.
