I'm looking into selling my F350 quad cab.
It's been a hard working ranch truck, had MT tires on it the first few years since I usually had it out in the pastures running fences, hauling water and the like. Lost the tailgate to a loaded 400gallon water tank that broke loose and slid off the gate. Oddly, the straps held, the tailgate bent into a U-shape! I replaced it with a $75 gate a guy in MN was selling so he could put in a fancy bed capper. It's white, says 250, on a black 350. Like I said, a
working pickup!
7.3l Powerstroke, full XLT/Lariat treatment, formerly owned by a guy who owned 3 sale barns in eastern MT. He racked up 72k miles in 8 months and traded it in. Seems he did that all of the time. I got a great truck, and a good deal. I've put nearly 100k on it in a few years.
My mare nibbled the rubber on the driver's door by the bottom of the window. I never replaced it, and I am reminded of that cantankerous old mare every time I see the bites.
So now I'm in KY, no ranch, so I really don't need something this big. But I will miss that truck when it goes.
