I was going to suggest locating a scrap dealer, they were paying about $20 for a 5 gallon bucket full of brass. I checked cuz I picked some brqass up from the Appleseed shoot - especially the stuff thrown by the Galils - shame what they do to good bras. Big dent right along the side from the ejector. Had to walk out 50-60 feet from the shooting position to find them.

I've got cases of Berdan primed I was thinking of learning to reload. I know about the primer pockets and all, but I have heard it is not impossible, just tougher to reload. Any ideas?

Pathfinder, everything I've read says it is do-able, but not feasible. Here is a link to a discussion on the matter that you might like to read.

"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison
