I think the glut may be over too. However, if the politicians continue to push the health care issue and use union thugs and ACORN operatives to beat up and silence people at meetings sales may begin to zoom. The way the country is being handled is becoming more and more a concern at a grass roots level and Chicago style politics may cause another increase in gun buying.
What would you do at a meeting if three or four big guys came over to rough you up?
What was the screening process to get in? Do I still have my tactical light? Do I have space to maneuver and maintain distance? What happens when I attempt to maintain distance and shout to raise awareness in the room? Do I still have my 1911?
Badger - This is where the "reasonable man" ruling gets interesting. If a 160 lb thug comes at me the court would tear me apart for over reacting. But, could my attorney build a defense around four men of any size confronting me and ignoring my requests and demands to stay back? And as in so many other situations, this is not black and white ... unless they follow you're lead, after exhausting other options how do they react to your draw?
Situational awareness! The sad part is that if we avoid meetings because of this threat, they have already won. I remember learning of mob tactics used by the mafia and unions to gain their way in a legal looking manor ... Is this any different if it happens?
