Jeffrey Anderson of the Pacific Research Institute, who has been writing scintillating criticisms of the Democrats’ proposed health care bills, has prepared a chart showing the true 10-year cost of the bill currently before the Senate.

As the chart makes clear, the costs of this legislation do not kick in in any significant way until 2014, and so the real 10-year cost—as opposed to the 10-year cost that the Congressional Budget Office, pursuant to its legislative charter, estimated—is $1.8 trillion for the 10-year period for 2014 to 2023. Let me spell that out: $1,800,000,000,000.

Yep, Its a 3 card monty at best...... If any company on wall street tried to use this kind of accounting they would be jailed immediately.... How the hell can they get away with comparing 5 years of costs to 10 years of revenues??? These clowns are raping our country!

Kinda slick how the taxes will be collected a few years before the system is in place....

And than the "Amendments" to the bill will begin. >:(

The screwing of Americans will continue, long after BHO's gone. A true legacy indeed.

Still trying to find ONE gov't program that has worked out... ???

Well, one thing to consider if you are holding anything in an account or written on a piece of paper some where it can be taxed and held against you benefit wise....not that anyone will own anything after another couple of years of BHO. 

The economy will increasingly have to go underground to survive.  Good jobs, the one's with benefits will be taxed so heavily if the fascists liberals have their way it will hardly be worth working and...hard work won't get the good jobs anyway it will be the politics. 

No wonder the USSR collapsed...I am supposing the same thing will happen here if the fascist liberals have their way...and they are having their way right now.[/size]

This is the same ploy FDR used for SS & then LBJ used for Medicare/Medicade - & nobody cares. Next will be environmental cost & then immigration - it's too late to fix it peacefully!!
