All revolutions are followed by a "reign of terror" a purge to get rid of the supporters of the previous regime.
In this case it will cut a huge swath through arts and entertainment, media, (Print and TV), the Education system, and the legal profession, there will also be a certain percentage of ordinary people who just HATE the ideas of personal responsibility, rule by law instead of "focus group", and capitalism. I foresee those FEMA camps being filled regardless of who wins.
The question is, since we can't just leave them there for the rest of their lives, what to do with them. It's the same question that faced Nazi Germany with the Jews, if we can't get any other countries to take them do we just shoot them ?  Try to "reeducate them ? Or just stick them all in Hawaii and set up a naval blockade ?

Bring back the chain gangs. Force these people to endure what it feels like to WORK for a living. Those that don't drop dead might just realize why we were so upset at them leaching off of us. Not that I'm holding my breath for that to happen.

I take the "kill 'em all & let God sort them out" approach. If we could just hire a pilot to take out the bunch of them (like Clancy's novel) then we could put decent, patriotic Americans in control. Will really it take violence - a revolutionary skirmish to fix this? I hate to think so, but I see more & more evidence every day that that's is what it will come too. And obviously as already stated, BHo sees it too. He just doesn't see that 'his' army is not for what he wants. But he will find out when it hits the fan & he is left with his minions alone.

I don't want to believe that it would come to that, but I think you're right. Things have gotten to the point that a violent revolution is the only way left to fix the problems we have. Our "representatives" have failed us. It now falls to We the People to fix the mess we're in. I fear that we are about to witness historical times. When the American people rise up, and fulfill their duty to the constitution. I say fear, because this is not the way it is supposed to work in the U.S. However, this is the very reason for the 2A. So that we could (if required) use force to remove those who pervert our liberty, and destroy our country. I think that after the mid term elections you will see a determined effort to disarm the people. I really do think that the 2010 elections will be the spark. If there is ANY evidence of fraud, such as illegals voting, or ACORN allegations, then you will see a backlash. People are getting tired of being ignored and marginalized. If you disenfranchise their votes, then I think that will be the final straw.

Tom has it right, this article is BS from a Eurotrash tabloid. Lets assume its true though. Until the Constitution is breeched my loyalties stand with the oath I took when I was 18, to uphold and defend the Constitution. This means I'm shooting at you. If BO or any other president delares themselves dictator  for life or the like, than I'm shooting at them. The point is, it will be brother against brother unless one side paints a hammer and sickle and 666 on their foreheads. Me, I was released from my oath, but I still intend to keep it. A lot of others feel the same way. As it is, I think we're dealing with Jimma Carter version 2.0 not Hitler. We, the American people, get a chance to decide in 2012. If we are denied that right, pick up a gun. If we are not, we get exactly what we deserve, win, lose or draw. I chose wrong in 2008. I will not make the same mistake twice. I doubt that I am alone.
