Let's talk about death statistics, shall we?  During the final 4 years of the Vietnam War there were more americans killed in alcohol-reltaed traffic crashes on US roadways than were killed in southeast Aisia during the entire course of the war.

However, since there's no poster-child for drunk driving victims like a Jim Brady for the anti's, the issue remains largely ignored.
