I was at barns and noble book store and saw the book (modern guns) is it worth buying?

I can't comment on this particular book. I have used the Blue Book the last couple of years.

Since I moved, I haven't taken the time to "restore" my reference library. It is still boxed back in the old country. Probably cheaper to buy a new set instead of having them shipped across the pond.
