A Little range time & 2 First Time Shooters
« on: December 06, 2009, 05:35:33 AM »
we had our Annual Chrissy party at my club today

I took my Niece and her best friend ( first time ever shooting )  for the club shoot

they had a ball there   and got to shoot a .22  on silhouette's    .9mm with small practical style shoot  and a few shots with a 12G  at some clays

for first timers they did very well,   My Niece's  friend also ended up getting 3rd place  in the juniors  very good for a first timer

a bonus  for me   just before the shooting finished,  my Mrs arrived with our little one  and she got to have her fist shot with a .22
:)    and she loved it.   just had her pull the trigger  and had it set up to hit in to the bank at 25 yards

now have to get some strength in her trigger finger hehe

I now have been asked to take them back  over the Chrissy break  and  I will be putting the membership in to the club for my daughter and niece so they can become members  :)

working on that one

Nessa Asked how much  :)

I found one of these

http://www.savagearms.com/cub_pink.htm

they want around $440 for it when I looked at a web price   here

has anyone had a go at a Savage youth model    what are they like   and can a scope be mounted as well ??

Glad to see ya'lls tyrants haven't outlawed good old family fun.  Don't care if you gotta let them kids put pink stickers on a rifle, just get them shooting more.

Sound like some good kids.  Have fun!

Fun stuff! My daughter has the pink kid's Peltor muffs too. When we went to the NRA show in Phoenix, she only wanted to find pink guns. It was like a where's Waldo for pink guns.

It'll be great if you can raise a generation of kids to grow up and restore more of your firearms rights.

Good job, Phil.  And yer little one is a cutie!

It being a Savage I would think it would be a well made and accurate gun.
