VIDEO: Mythbusters annihilate a car near the speed of sound

Nothing about guns with this post just plain fun!

I’m not sure if some of you have heard about Mythbusters from the Discovery Channel but they do some very interesting experiments.  In this clip they use a two-stage rocket sled and ram it into a stationary Ford Aspire at 650 MPH.  Watch the carnage!

That one was one of my favorites............ Total destruction.



This one is still my all time favorite for the sheer 'suddenness' of the explosion.

When something like that goes off around you, you chip your teeth. Had hand grenades and artillery go off when I was active duty in the army and it was great.

I watched and watched and watched to make sure I was seeing what I was seeing ...

Plane nose crumples, and then I assume the engines reach the wall at the leading edge of the wings, but did you see that wing slize the concrete  :o  It is at about that same time that I think it is the engines come out the other side.
