I'm getting pissed, and not with you on here I can say that because Tab and FQ haven't signed in yet

I started this at 7:53 this morning, and fifty some minutes later Eric started another with exactly the same tittle.  Out side of one e-mail from a co-worker I have read nothing in our main stream media or heard anything on the airwaves (appologies to tt - I didn't tune in very early this morning, and I could have missed your 90 minute memorial service  ;) ).

That is why I picked the video I did for my first post.  Fifty-Eight years and Pearl Harbor has become a non-issue in our country.  I was well into my teens before I fully realized that Pearl Harbor was a place and not an event.  I still think of the attacks before Hawaii when I hear the name.

I am not angry because no one is posting on either of these threads.  I am angry because those that have "devoted themselves to the responsibility of keeping us enlightened" have decided this is not a day worth remembering any more  >:(

The History Channel has some shows on but even they seem to be lacking.

You know damn well anyone in the MSM could give a crap about what happened today. These are the same people who don't think we should speak about 9/11 either. You know, it just brings up bad memories and might actually make people get all patriotic for a little while.

A day that will live in infamy, until Dancing With the Stars starts again.

It's unspeakable that the main stream media is more interested in the Virgin space liner than the most important event in 20th century for America.

It's this simple (in my warped mental world  ;)).

The media in general, better known in whole as the "liberal media", is only following obama's lead.  The less we remember, or think about our history the easier and quicker it's going to be to introduce their new warped and twisted version of a government.  I've even heard a few mention of us going to " a new unrecognizable government" in the press now "As the only feasible outcome to our governments spending spree's and new policies."

There you have it.

FOX news has a little ticker tape running accross the bottom of the screen that IS talking about this.  They mention 2,400 were killed that morning.

Good find on the pic's Eric.

My local paper managed to interview some vets the last few days, and today's made top of the fold, front page. Good for them. Still, you would think that given that we are still ass deep in another war started by a Pearl Harbor like attack, that the media would be giving it more play.
