We got about 8 inches of slushy, wet, heavy, icey stuff which prompted me to dip into the hidey place where I'd stashed some cash for a new lever gun and maybe a .22 LR Savage and dropped 900 bucks on a new snow blower instead....

Remind me why I love the north!   :-\

Bought a compact Ariens this time, seems like a much better unit than the Troy Built I had a few years ago...all steel, heavy duty but not a monster.  Consumer Reports recommended it so I'll see how she runs.  Didn't have any trouble moving the heavy stuff...

I also gotta find a new hidey place.....the wifey snooped my hideout....

The Good Lord saw fit to use my money for a more noble cause....I know I'll use it more this winter than the lever gun....plenty of time to hide some more cash and my burfday is in May...

OK, I know it was only eight inches, on top of two inches from last week, and 50 mph winds to move it for us.  However, since we are in the early winter whining mode I will share ... Photo number two is from one cleaning of the lot and almost as much as we piled there all last winter.





Nothing more in the near future, but I guarantee there will hell to pay if I listen to Big Tom forecast another one of these!
