I agree here. Once the guy is no longer a threat, its the cop's problem, not yours. In regards to the OP, you would think that the guy shold have gotten off under a very justified "temporary insanity" plea. He was full of adrenaline, scared and pissed because of something that was forced on him. Personally, I'd have given him  suspended sentence and let him walk at worst. Preferabbly, the DA would just have let it go. The thing the UK doesn't seem to get is that they are empowering criminals by sending a message to law abiding folks that even if you defend yourself you go to jail. You're screwed either way.
FQ13 who remembers, remembers, the 12th of November ;D

I think that is actually supposed to be the 5th of November! I think the guy got hosed by a f**ked up and broken system!  And the "victim" of his crime got what he deserved!! To bad they didn't catch his accomplices so they could get the same treatment!!!!!

Much like too many people over here have forgotten about the 4th of July and the 11th of September.
I love waking up every morning knowing that Donald Trump is President!!

so do I   however  it would come as no surprise to you all
Guess what  I can not have them  / buy them / use them    as they were banned  from public sale  unless you have a licence  >:(

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

Time for Ned Kelly to ride again.

Fawlkes was foiled in his plot before he could even strike a match by the king's troops, and ended up rather on the dead side. The 5th of November wcelebrates the foiling of the insurrection, not the insurrection itself.

Kelley was gunned down in his armor by the local constables and hung after a kangaroo trial.

Can we maybe find a more successful metaphor to celebrate?  ???
