A,

I think we forgot to say WELCOME!!!

Stop on over to the introduction thread, and introduce yourself.

Thanks, everyone for the help!  I've transported back and forth to Alaska a couple of times, and I'm flying the same airline to PHX, so shouldn't be any bigger of a deal than any other time.

Appreciate the replies/advice!

Merry Christmas!  8)

Enjoy  your  trip.  And while in Phoenix, if you happen to run across a 6-ft tall Phoenix PD Sgt with LONG dark hair (female, for the record), give her a big hug and tell her Uncle Tom loves her!!   ;D
I love waking up every morning knowing that Donald Trump is President!!

That and opening your trench coat will get you the same thing ... tasered and slapped in the gray bar!

So you're saying a "memorable trip" is a BAD thing?   ;D

Oh yeah, one more thing, don't forget to leave your handcuffs laying out in the hotel room.  Preferable from the headboard.   ;D

Looks like I'm all packed!

I'm sure I can think of something clever to put here before I accidentally click "Change profile".

Have you guys forgotten that AZ is an open carry state?  You have to stay out of hospitals, schools, Federal buildings and banks, but they even let you carry in bars these days.  Can't drink while you're in there, but you can carry.  Most of the time, AZ people won't even look at you funny.  Proudly strap that holster to your hip and walk proud--don't even try to conceal.
“I’ve lived the literal meaning of the ‘land of the free’ and ‘home of the brave.’ It’s not corny for me. I feel it in my heart. I feel it in my chest. Even at a ball game, when someone talks during the anthem or doesn’t take off his hat, it pisses me off. I’m not one to be quiet about it, either.”  Chris Kyle
