Also try #4 shot in duck loads.

These are hardened and there is a handful of them.

Some of the new turkey loads have hardened pellets as well.

At close range (ie  across a room ) most any load will make a "bloody rat hole".

I have not shot sheetrock with the above loads but doubt they will over penetrate.

All this does is post the most commom rounds/. This is common knowledge with no reference to the BEST round for each caliber. Which I find not unusual because no one or no company will unequivocally say what is the best round . This post is BS.

I think there is a lot of good raw information in there... final decisions need to be left to the individual loading the firearm... but those decisions should educated ones and that link helps with that process!

I have seen this before on my own quest and I find it to be just good ol' raw data. It does however reinforce this brewing realization of mine that the .357 mag is dead and no body likes it anymore. I get the feeling it was made to fill a niche in the market to make .38 loads actually expand but now that the .38's expand out of any platform I don't know if the gold ol' .357 will be around much longer... Oh sure it has its place in cowbow action and hunting but nobody is making good SD rounds for it anymore and when you mention such heresey in the gun shop people just laugh and say "You can't make fast hits with a cannon boy.."
