We're warm and snowy.
So far this is turning into "the storm that wasn't" up here. The storm was supposed to track south, just catch the pan handle of Texas, brush Tulsa and Wichita on its eastern edge, and slam right through "Big TT's" and my backyard with 20+ inches. However, radar maps show it went way down into Texas, family in south central KS and eastern KS say they are getting blasted, and it looks like it will catch us with its trailing edge as it passes to our east.
Last night we had six inches, we've been getting flurries today, and we could get another six inches tonight. We were also expecting a drop into the teens today, followed by wind and single digits as the weekend passes. Right now we are at 31, and updates are saying 20's through the weekend, with maybe a low of zero and high in low teens on Wednesday.
Not complaining, but a lot of stuff was canceled due to the forecast. And, the wife's whole family stayed south till it blows by.
