How are term limits unconstitutional ?
They put one in place one the Office of President ?
I'm not being snarky (this time) I'm asking.

The 22 amendment to the US Constitution limits the President to two terms.

Exactly, so why couldn't they do the same to Congress ?
The only problem I can see is it would have to be voted on by Congress, but the way around that is to pass STATE laws that no resident can serve more than 2 terms.

Right, and that is how you change the Constitution, not through a Congressional act alone. Since the Constitution does not specify a limit, an Amendment must be passed to effect such limits. Sadly, IIRC the process does start with a Congressional act, which just ain't going to happen.

That has already been tried. Federal courts have ruled that the states cannot limit the terms of federal office holders. Only state office holders.
Congress must be willing to limit themselves by starting the amendment process.
