2010 New Years Resolutions
« on: December 28, 2009, 03:21:07 AM »
New Year's Eve is just a few days away, that means it's time to decide what you will promise to,  get right  / Do / give up in 2010.

who  will be doing one of the Generic's   that everyone has each year

1. Stop smoking
2. Lose Weight
3. Get Fit
4. Enjoy Life More
5. Quit Drinking
6. Get Organised
7. Learn Something New
8. Get Out of Debt
9. Spend more time with the Family
10. Get More Guns
Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

Work more

Shooter's New Year's Resolution(s):

1) Become more consistent.
2) Become more consistent with a variety of calibers.
3) Shoot straighter.
4) Keep stockpiling ammo
5) Get another "black" rifle
6) Get to the range more
7) Practice,Practice,Practice, with snap caps also
8) Seek and acquire more training
9) Try an IDPA match
10) Work. So I can afford 1-9.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

1...Practice on  having patience with Marshal and work...  ::)
2....Stay on a fitness program and eat more sensibly  ( whatever that is  :o)  hence .. losing the 20 lbs I have put on in the last 4 years.
3..... Practice on having Patience.......
4... Practice more with my cowboy guns
5.....Try to have more Patience.
6  ..Keep my work load more organized  staying on one project until its totally done...not saying yes to everything and everyone. :-\
7 ...Let things roll off me and have more Patience
8... Catch up on all my photo videos and albums
9.. Don't get so irritated with Marshal and have more Patience  ;)
10... Take a little time each week for "me"... just to get grounded and level out ...

**Patience being my first and foremost important factor.. I don't think many realize what it takes for 2 people to be together literally 24 hours every day  7 days a week.. we travel together.. work together.. eat..sleep ..relax ...everything we do the other one is there!  Our office desks are side by side in a small room...
There is seldom a break from each other.... For the most part it is smooth and easy.. Marshal is so low keyed and layed back and I've only seen him lose his cool 3 times in 5 years..
Me?? well~~~ lets not go there!  ;D

That's why I say PATIENCE is my 2010 resolution.

Andy Rooney had a great resolution on 60 minutes the other night and I'm going vow to do the same one. He said that his resolution is to not start smoking. After seeing the hell that my father-in-law went trough having to have his bladder removed, because of smoking related cancer, that's pretty easy.

Kid, good to see you back around. The world always needs you speak softly and carry a big stick guys. Or speak softly and carry a 4 barreled gun? Hope you're doing better.

I don't do resolutions....I just keep on keeping-on with the work-in-progress that is my life and family...

That's why I say PATIENCE is my 2010 resolution.

Hope that works out for you....I've never had any patience of my own.....I've tried the patience of others....and they don't seem too happy with it.....so maybe patience isn't such a good thing....  ;D
Why, yes....I'm the right-wing extremist Obama warned you about... ;D

I just wish Texas was as free and independent as everyone thinks it is...   :'(
