Ah, yes.   Memories of Chanute AFB, IL in the winter.   Been there. Done that.  Not to mention, stop overs in Anchorage and Fairbanks.   Give me 80F+ any day.

I personally am grateful to all you who live in the frozen clim's.   More room for us decent folks down here.  Even N. Ga is colder than I'd like.

Gosh, so many "bite me's" make me feel unappreciated.  And, I'm not even in Florida at the moment.  I'm freezing my butt off at my kid's place in LA where at the moment it's a chilly 54 degrees.  Spent Christmas with parents in Mesa where the high rarely got above 60 and the lows hit 32.  I haven't been warm in two weeks.  If God wanted us to live in snow, we'd have been born with fur.  This cold stuff is the pits.
