Crimson Trace Laser Grips

Has any one tried the Laser Grips for the glock? I'm left handed and my concern is that my two hand grip will block the laser. When I tried some of the others that replaced the the grip panels my off hand blocked the beam.

My son in law is LEO. His off duty (little bitty Glock) has a laser grip and he has no problem.
Oh...he's left handed.

I have a set on my G30 and have a couple of issues.

It makes the grip a little awkward, and the height of the laser module gives you a very small area to grip and rip the slide during malf drills.

I also wise they'd put the activation switch somewhere else.

Stoped by the gun shop to day and played with a ruger sp101 with laser grips.  I had no trouble with a left handed grip.

I did try a set of the Crimson Trace's for my G27. They worked okay until I started shooting. Then the laser's point of aim would shift and the "red dot" would gradually climb. I dunno if I have a bad set or they couldn't take the massive recoil of my .40. I have heard other guys talk about them on bigger glocks and they seem to have no problems no matter what the caliber. I honestly think that didn't work because of the gun being so small and that much recoil, because I could re-align them and they would work for a magazine or so..then the laser dot would drift again. Umm.. dunno if that was an issue of mine only or not.. But, other than that they are cool and I know other people like them.

Don't have one on my G35 yet, Been considering it. You posting this did make the decision a more informed one for me if I choose to get one. I'd imagine being right handed is a little more convenient. I went with a Streamlight M6 instead. Would like to point out that on my newer S&W 1911PD that came with the S&W logo'd Crimson Trace laser grips that it is on the right side and being right handed I find I have to remember to force my fore finger knuckle down or it will block the laser. It would be nice if they (Crimson Trace) made it an laser on the left or right an option. In this case I wish the laser was on the left for my right handed shooting. Easier to adjust the thumb then the fore finger knuckle in my book.

Anyhow just putting my 2 cents in. I know, about all it's worth. lol
