Apparently someone mistakenly posted the new Ruger on the homepage but quickly removed it. I saw what it was on DRTV but when I went to the Ruger website to check it out it was still 9 hours away from being announced, and when I came back here it was gone. Did anyone else see it?

Damn straight! If its another 10/22 in drag or the dreaded plastic black hawk, I will be unhappy. These people have millions. INNOVATE!!!!!! Find a new niche and fill it. Better yet, create a new niche. Plastic S/A revolvers and pimped out .22s, much less another (yawn ::)) AR or 1911 don't  count. The LCR, though not my cup of tea, does. If Ruger were to read this, or any other board, they would find there is a market for a higher caliber carbine or a better AK or a hotter LCP. Hopefully they will listen.

A well made Ruger AK with forged receiver would be a very nice surprise.

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them
