After all the public ranges down here, the coddled way that gun owners are "allowed" to shoot, rate of fire, firing from a holstered position, etc,..
All these "rules/policies" vary from range to range, and can limit drills and exercises that others like myself would like to try. Especially a longer range for rifles, over 100yds.
Well, on the border of the Everglades, is Pops Gun Club. It's a private range, been around for a long while, and family oriented. Old fashioned good group of shooters, that enjoy firearms and have many different stations for different applications.

Tannerite is allowed, bump firing, no rapid fire restrictions, old fashioned Turkey Shoots at 40 yds. IDPA, NRA events, and a good bunch of guys for a 1 time "donation of $50.00"
Donations are made when you go shoot, usually $20.00, and family is automatically allowed. If you haven;t had formal training, an NRA instructed safety course is mandatory prior to shooting. No restrictions on guests, and members can volunteer for just about anything.

Did I mention the wild pig hunting on the grounds?
Talked and had a very personal shooting/gun conversation with the owner, who invited me to sign up this Saturday. Did I mention Tannerite was/is allowed? Only thing is No Furniture or appliances, or old cars are allowed downrange without prior approval.
